Rajan Rajgopal is a seasoned semiconductor professional with over 25 years of global corporate experience spanning Asia, Europe and US in P&L management, quality, customer management, new product introduction and high-volume manufacturing excellence. He is an innovative and resourceful problem-solver with demonstrated leadership track record of transforming global teams to collectively deliver improved profitability and competitive position, world class quality and exceptional customer service levels in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
Most recently he was President and CEO/Vice Chairman of DenseLight Semiconductor, a boutique Semiconductor Photonics manufacturing company with a focus on semiconductor lasers for the Data Communication and Sensing markets. Before coming to Denselight, Rajan was the President of GaNStar(part of IGSS group), a startup in the Gallium Nitride space developing products for Power Electronics. Prior to that he was VP of Global Quality at Micron Technology leading a team of 500+ people spread across 12 different countries with a clear focus on achieving “World Class Quality”. Prior to Micron, he spent 18 years at GLOBALFOUNDRIES in various VP level roles such as quality, operations, process/yield engineering and customer engineering. He started his career at Texas Instruments where he worked on Radiation Hardened semiconductors as a member of the technical staff at Semiconductor Research and Design Center in Dallas, Texas from 1989 to 1995.
Rajan, has received four patents and more than 20 publications, holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maine, Orono. Rajan is a US citizen and a Singapore PR.
Dr. Wei Shu is a leading expert in semiconductor and electronic circuit designs, with a vision to transform the space and semiconductor industry. He is the co-founder and CTO of Zero-Error Systems (ZES), a Singapore-based company that provides innovative semiconductor electronics solutions that enable semiconductor COTS into space by intelligently mitigating various radiation effects. Dr. Shu oversees the R&D activities of ZES, including product development, manufacturing, qualification, and customer engagement.
He has secured more than $4M in R&D contracts since joining ZES in 2020, and has developed and delivered various products for both space and commercial markets. He and his colleagues have also filed 26 patents, of which 6 have been granted.
Before co-founding ZES, Dr. Shu was a program manager and senior research scientist at Temasek Laboratories (Singapore), a prestigious national research center. He and his team successfully completed several research projects worth more than $10M, some of which led to the spin-off of ZES.
Dr. Shu obtained his B.Eng and Ph.D. in electrical and electronic engineering from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, in 2005 and 2010 respectively. His areas of expertise include highly-reliable electronics/Integrated Circuits/Application Specific Integrated Circuit for space applications, power management ICs, audio power amplifier, high-speed data converters and low-voltage low-power analog ASIC for micro- electromechanical systems (MEMS).
Niranjan Gundala is Vice President of Business Development & Strategy at Zero-Error Systems. Niranjan draws on his strong background in engineering and business to research and drive new product development for ‘New Space’ semiconductors market. He directs and executes in-depth analysis of new target markets, including technical/market trends, value proposition, and revenue growth strategies, contributing to the stakeholders.
Niranjan is an accomplished marketing and engineering professional with proven ability to drive corporate direction and growth through new products promotion, global coordination, and business revenue expansion. He began his marketing prowess in the electronics industry in 1998 with ROHM Semiconductors (Japan) as Product Marketing Engineer after which he transitioned into Head-Business Development & Technical Marketing (APAC) where he combined his unique talents of technical and business expertise.
Niranjan holds a Degree in Electrical& Electronics Engineering from the PSG College of Technology, India.
Kwen-Siong Chong (S’03-M’09-SM’13) received the B.Eng., M.Phil. And Ph.D. degrees in electrical and electronic engineering from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, in 2001, 2002, and 2007 respectively.
He is a co-founder of the NTU spin-off, Zero-Error Systems Pte. Ltd. (ZES), Singapore, and presently a Director of Engineering at ZES. He leads the engineering team on ultra-low soft-error rate library cell development, system design/payload design for satellite applications, and irradiation testing for single-event-effect analysis.
Before joining ZES, he was with NTU/Temasek Laboratories @ NTU (Singapore), and was principal investigator (PI), co-PI, and collaborator of several research projects, including the projects supported from National Science Foundation (Singapore), Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (USA), Ministry of Education (Singapore), and Public Sector Research Funding (Singapore). His research interests include space-grade resilient circuits and systems, hardware security, and asynchronous Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) designs.
He has published more than 100 journal and conference publications. He is a co-inventor of more than 10 patents. Dr. Chong was the Chair of IEEE Circuits and Systems (CAS) Society, Singapore Chapter, in 2017 and 2018. He is/was as an organizing committee member for several Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) conferences, including the ASP-DAC-2014, DSP-2015, DSP-2018, SOCC-2019, ISICAS-2021, AsianHOST-2022, and ISCAS-2024. He has been a member of IEEE CAS Society VLSI Systems and Applications Technical Committee since 2009. He is an IEEE senior member. He is a Functional Safety Engineer: FS Eng (TÜV Rheinland) # 28823/24 – HW/SW Design.

Arun presently is a Board member at ASTAR and Chairman of Advanced Micro Foundry in Singapore. Additionally, he is on the Supervisory Boards of ams-Osram AG and TESA SE in Germany. Previously, he was Management Board Member of Infineon Technologies AG, Board Member of Renesas Electronics Ltd. Japan, Board Member at Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB).
Prof Chang is a full professor in Nanyang Technological University and has founded 5 startups. He has received numerous research grants including from DARPA (USA), European Union, industrial grants from multinational corporations, A*STAR, Ministry of Education, etc. He has more than 200 publications with numerous technical awards. He is the key inventor of ZES technologies.
