Soma has over 30 growing greenfield markets especially in driving new technology adoption. He began his career at Hewlett-Packard, occupying various positions in Production, Field Application, Marketing culminating as the Country Head, India before he moved to join Cree Inc, as the regional sales direct for South Asia. His last position was the Senior VP, Global Sales & Marketing at DenseLight Semiconductors, driving InP light source solutions (SLED, SOA, CW Lasers, Gain Chips) into Sensing & Datacom marketing, wining designs at global telecom & sensing customers.
Soma holds a B.Tech(Hons) in Electronics & Electrical Communication from IIT Kharagpur, and an MBA in Internal Business from the University of south Australia.
